6n137 Optoelasse practical operation application

Use 6n137 optocoupler to achieve the isolation and transmission of the TTL signal

List of device:

6n13 light coupling
TTL signal generator
TTL signal receiver
power supply
Resistance and connection line

Steps:

Connect 6n137 -optocoupled pins:

The pins (VCC) and pin 8 (GND) connected to the 6N137 optocoupler to the positive power supply and ground, respectively.
Set the input terminal resistor:

The resistance between the input terminal (pin 2) and the output end (pin 6).This resistance is used to limit the input terminal and ensure the normal operation of the optical transmitter.
Connect the TTL signal generator:

Connect the output pins of the TTL signal generator to the input end (pin 2) of the 6n137 optocoupler.Make sure the level of the TTL signal generator output is within the TTL logic level range (usually 0V and 5V).
Connect TTL signal receiver:

Connect the input pin of the TTL signal receiver to the output end (pin 6) of the 6N137 optocoupler.Make sure the TTL signal receiver can read the signal of 6n137 output normally.
Power connection:

Provide the required power supply for 6N137 optocoupler, TTL signal generator and TTL signal receiver.Make sure the power supply voltage meets the specifications of 6N137.
Test and verification:

Make sure that the connection is correct, test and verify.By changing the output signal of the TTL signal generator, observe whether the TTL signal receiver can be received and read the corresponding signal correctly.
Safety consideration:

In the process of design and operation, ensure safety standards, follow relevant electrical safety regulations, especially when dealing with high voltage and current.
Optimize and debug:

For specific applications, circuit optimization and debugging may be required to ensure the stability and performance of the system.
